Your first code, step by step
Five steps from sign-up to the first code.

Create an account
Get an access token on the sign-up page. It is your username and password in one, and the server does not keep it. Save it as a .txt file.
If the token is lost, the account cannot be recovered. Keep a second copy somewhere else.

Top up
Choose an amount in the top-up box on your account screen. Top-ups start at $10 and are added once payment is confirmed.
From $100 bonus balance is added. The pricing page lists the bonus for each amount.

Get a number
In the issue bar choose the app and the country, then press Get number. You can also do it from the account screen.
If the app only accepts numbers from one country, pick that country first.

Type it into the app
Copy the new number from My numbers into the phone field of the app and request the code.
If the app has a separate field for the dial code, enter only the digits after it.

Read the code
The SMS appears in My numbers. If nothing comes within 20 minutes, the price returns to your balance.
Before the code arrives you can also press Cancel and get the money back at once.
No code?
Try another country
Apps work better with some countries. A number without a code costs nothing.
Check the format
Make sure the dial code is not typed twice and check whether the app wants the leading 0 removed.
Resend once
Pressing resend many times can make the app block the number for a while. Wait 1~2 minutes and press once.
Fair use
- Use numbers to verify your own accounts and services you run.
- Not for taking over other people's accounts, fraud, spam or illegal trade.
- Numbers only receive. Sending SMS and calls are not available.
